Ultimate Rice Krispie Treats


Ingredients


  • 12 oz Large size Rice Krispies Cereal

  • 15 oz bag of mini marshmallows (Set aside about 2 ounces for homestyle drop ins)

  • 1/3 cup of unsalted butter

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • 1 cup condensed milk (Add the full can if you desire extra chewy treats)

Directions

  1. Brown the butter over medium heat in a large pot.

  2. Add in condensed milk and stir until fully combined.

  3. Add in 13 oz of marshmallows and stir until nearly melted, then pour in vanilla.

  4. Remove the marshmallow mixture from the heat and pour in the cereal. Mix until all cereal is sticky, then pour in the remaining marshmallows.

  5. Grease a 9x13 baking dish or pan and add the treats to the pan.

  6. Allow it to fully cool before cutting into squares.

  7. Store the treats in an airtight container to keep them fresh for longer.
