Irresistible Ginger and Lemon Glazed Salmon: A Family Favorite

Salmon is a versatile and nutritious fish that can be prepared in numerous ways, but one of the standout recipes that my family absolutely adores is the Ginger and Lemon Glazed Salmon. This delectable dish strikes the perfect balance between savory, zesty, and sweet flavors, making it a favorite go-to meal in our household.

Ginger & Lemon Glazed Salmon

Ingredients:

  • Salmon Fillet

  • Grape seed oil for coating

  • Kinders brand seasonings (lemon pepper, Japanese BBQ, and blackened with lemon and cayenne) or your preferred seasonings

  • 1 lemon

  • 2 tbsp of butter

For the tantalizing glaze that elevates the salmon to a whole new level, you will need:

  • 3 tbsp butter

  • 2 tbsp minced ginger

  • 1 tbsp minced garlic

  • ⅛ cup soy sauce

  • Juice of 1 lemon

  • 3 tbsp Hoison sauce

  • 1 tbsp sriracha

  • ½ cup water

  • 1 tbsp brown sugar

Directions:

Preheat your oven to 400°F.

  1. Place the salmon fillet on a baking tray and coat it with grape seed oil. Season the salmon generously with Kinders brand seasonings or your chosen seasonings.

  2. Squeeze the juice of one lemon over the seasoned salmon and dot with 2 tablespoons of butter.

  3. Cover the tray with foil and bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.

  4. While the salmon is baking, prepare the glaze. In a saucepan, melt 3 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add minced ginger and garlic, and sauté until fragrant.

  5. Stir in soy sauce, lemon juice, Hoison sauce, sriracha, water, and brown sugar. Allow the glaze to simmer and thicken for a few minutes.

  6. Once the salmon has baked for 15 minutes, remove the foil and generously brush the glaze over the salmon.

  7. Return the salmon to the oven and broil for an additional 3-5 minutes, or until the glaze is caramelized and the salmon is cooked to perfection.

The result is a succulent and flavorful Ginger and Lemon Glazed Salmon that never fails to impress. With its tender flakiness and the perfect balance of citrusy and spicy notes, this dish is sure to become a treasured favorite in your family, just like it is in mine. Enjoy!
