Funfetti Sugar Cookies


Ingredients:


  • ¾ cup unsalted softened butter

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • ½ cup light brown sugar

  • 1 large egg

  • 1 tsp clear vanilla

  • 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour

  • ¾ tsp baking soda

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ½ tsp cream of tartar

  • ¼ to ⅓ cup rainbow sprinkles

Directions:


  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and light brown sugar until smooth.

  3. Add in the egg and clear vanilla, mixing well to combine.

  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, salt, and cream of tartar.

  5. Slowly incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, mixing until a dough forms.

  6. Carefully fold in the rainbow sprinkles to add color and fun to the dough.
