Crab & Shrimp Ravioli
Ingredients
1 lb frozen or refrigerated ravioli
8 oz crab meat
1 lb large cleaned and deveined shrimp (tails off)
Smoked paprika (to taste)
Seafood seasoning of choice (to taste)
Garlic powder (to taste)
Onion powder (to taste)
Sazon complete (to taste)
6 tbsp butter
2 cups heavy cream
1 tbsp minced garlic
6 oz grated parmesan cheese
Italian seasoning (to taste)
Directions
Season the Shrimp: In a bowl, season the cleaned and deveined shrimp with smoked paprika, seafood seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and sazon complete.
Cook the Shrimp: In a skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the seasoned shrimp and cook until they are pink and opaque, approximately 2-3 minutes per side. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Prepare the Sauce: In the same skillet, add the remaining 4 tablespoons of butter and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Make the Cream Sauce: Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Add Italian seasoning and seafood seasoning, adjusting the flavors to your preference. Allow the sauce to simmer and thicken slightly.
Cook the Ravioli: In a separate pot, bring water to a boil and cook the ravioli according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Combine Ingredients: Once the sauce has thickened, gently fold in the crab meat, then add the cooked ravioli and shrimp. Toss everything together until well coated.
