  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the room temperature butter, brown sugar, and white sugar. Cream them together using a hand mixer or stand mixer until light and fluffy.

  2. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Add in the vanilla bean paste or vanilla extract and mix until well combined. Also add in heavy cream.

  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cream of tartar, and baking soda.
