Yield: One 9-inch cheesecake

Banana Pudding Cheesecake

Ingredients

Crust:

  • 1 box of Nilla wafers

  • 1/3 cup of unsalted butter, melted

Filling:

  • 2 (8 oz) blocks of cream cheese, softened

  • 1 box of vanilla instant pudding mix (3.4 oz box)

  • 1 1/2 cups of heavy cream

  • 1 can of sweetened condensed milk

  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract

  • Ripe bananas, sliced

Directions

  1. Begin by crushing the vanilla wafers into fine crumbs. Set aside approximately 24 cookies for garnishing.

  2. In a bowl, combine the cookie crumbs and melted butter until the mixture resembles wet sand.

  3. Press the crumb mixture evenly into the bottom of a springform pan, creating a firm and compact crust. Use the back of a glass to press it down firmly.

  4. Place the crust in the refrigerator to chill while we prepare the filling.

  5. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the blocks of cream cheese until smooth and fluffy.

  6. Add the vanilla instant pudding mix, heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla extract to the cream cheese mixture. Mix well until all the ingredients are fully combined and the filling is smooth.

  7. Take the springform pan out of the refrigerator and pour the prepared filling onto the chilled crust.

  8. Arrange the remaining Nilla wafers and sliced bananas on top of the cheesecake, gently pressing them into the filling.

  9. Cover the cheesecake with cling wrap to prevent any odor absorption and refrigerate it for 2 to 3 hours, or until it sets and becomes firm.

  10. Once the cheesecake is properly chilled and set, remove it from the refrigerator. Carefully remove the sides of the springform pan.

  11. Slice the Banana Pudding Cheesecake into generous portions and serve chilled.

  12. Sit back, take a bite, and let the creamy texture and luscious flavors transport your taste buds to dessert heaven.

Whether you're a fan of classic banana pudding or a cheesecake enthusiast, this Banana Pudding Cheesecake is a match made in dessert heaven. The velvety-smooth texture, the delightful combination of vanilla and banana, and the satisfying crunch of Nilla wafers make it an irresistible treat for any occasion. Share it with your loved ones or savor it on your own - either way, this recipe is guaranteed to satisfy your sweet tooth and leave you craving for more. Enjoy!
